Christopher Meir received his PHD in Film and Television Studies from the University of Warwick in 2008. His research has focused on the industrial aspects of film and television history. His thesis was concerned with the interrelationships between industrial factors, including governmental film policy, in Scottish cinema with larger questions of national identity.
